BURST OF ENERGY

The previous evening settled down after the family had a precious and memorable night of songs and stories near Mom. We had all gone off to bed to get some rest.

The morning began early, before some of us had woken up.  I came in to the room to see Mom all bright eyed and smiling. What I couldn't believe was the fact that she was sitting up.  On top of that, she was pulling herself up with the handle of a broom that was suspended by Dad and Rachelle.  Mom had such a bright and beautiful smile on her face that we had to capture a photo of her.  At the end, Mom completed 12 full pull-ups to show off her morning skills.

 This all lasted for about an hour before she laid down for a little nap.  Then the burst of energy finally caught up to her and she rested for the remainder of the day.

But what a blessing that she had this burst and wanted to do this.  She was so happy.  We love you Mom.
