My mother is a Proverbs 31 woman. Her children call her Blessed. She is now dancing in Heaven in the presence of our Good Lord. Her head is crowned with many crowns, for she served the Lord all the days of her life. I love you mom! Your daughter, Annie
One of my last conversations with grandma was me asking her if she was fighting to stay with us on earth or if she wanted to go be in heaven with God. She told me that she wasn't sure, that it was a deep thought. I told her it was ok to go, that we all loved her and would miss her, but we knew that she wouldn't be in pain anymore and she would walk and dance and see her boys and my baby boy. Now that she is gone it gets hard some days. I cant call her up anymore and get told that she needs to hang up at least 10 times before we finally hang up. "Oh another thing" I think was her favorite phrase.
I love you so much grandma! Thank you for teaching me so much, such as put God first and trust Him in everything you do.
I look forward to the day when I will see you again and can give you a great big hug and kiss!
Love, your sweetie pie Rachel.

What I remember most about Betty, was the twinkle in her eyes....I believe there was a bit of mischievousness in them...in a most delightful way! I loved to watch her sign to worship music, it was extravagant, and she had a radiance about her I could see. To Annie, my wonderful friend, and the rest of the family, I was honored to know Betty. May God's infinite peace surround each family member and may we remember the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

My grandma Betty was an awesome grandma. I'm so glad I got to spend time with her last summer. She used to always say that I was funny, Grandma also taught me how to make a cake her way and I will never forget that. She made me feel joy, she made me happy. I will never forget her. I love you grandma.

To mark the occasion we took Dad out for dinner. To his surprise however, it was no ordinary dinner. This was a momentous event! It was significant not only because it marked our first year without Mom, but largely because we were all together again. In spite of the miles that separated Jenny and Lisa from us, they were able to be present via video conferencing.
Annie, Rachel and I were sitting close to Dad, watching on as Jenny and Lisa visually expressed their affections. We had such a good time laughing and crying together, recalling countless family memories. A perfect evening of grateful reflection!
Although Mom was unable to be with us, we know that by means of the resurrection, in God's due time, Mom will enjoy life again. And what a life it will be! “The real life,” as the apostle Paul called it.—1 Timothy 6:19; Hebrews 6:10-12.
Mom trusted that even if she lost her life now, she would be rewarded for her loyalty to God. She did not let the fear of death enslave her as she knew this gave Satan her power. Much like Jesus, Mom did not have this fear. Through his ransom sacrifice, Jesus provided the means for freeing us all from such fear.—Hebrews 2:14, 15
Jehovah promises that he will make the earth a paradise, free from trouble, sorrow, death, pain and suffering. Isaiah 33:24 His word the Bible tells us that: “Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”—Revelation 21:4.
So with great anticipation, we look forward to the day when we can embrace her again, but this time….. for all eternity.

It was just a little more than two weeks ago that Mom was taken by ambulance due to an alarmingly high fever. Dad and I followed the ambulance to the hospital where we sat with her for hours. The following morning, while making my way to her room, I thankfully considered the intense love she shared with Dad and each one of us girls. Mom desired to live until she was at least 88. Despite such a goal, intense pain, long hours of chemotherapy, radiation and multiple doctors appointments were taking their toll. Upon entering her room, I knelt down alongside her bed and cried. Mom reached over, grabbed my hand and said, “It will be okay honey, we have lots and lots of days.” She died 14 days later. In those final days, Mom used every moment to amuse, bless and love us all. We were additionally blessed to have all been at her bedside when she passed away. How fortunate we are to have known the love of such a beautiful woman. I am a better person because of Betty Reynolds, my Mom.

Mommy, you have always taught me to be strong. To stick to reality. Keep my head out of the clouds. Don't always think only of myself, but to remember others. Over the years, you have taught me some valuable lessons in life. I miss you but know that one day we will be together again in Heaven with our Lord Jesus. By the way, all of your girls are taking good care of Daddy for you. I love you Mommy.

Couldn't have asked for a more Godly, beautiful, thoughtful, loving, and inspiring woman than my mother n law Betty Reynolds. She always knew what to say, and how to say things that were comforting to those she loved, and those she didn't even know. God was truly first in her life, as He should be. This is why I know she is in a place that is so incredible, that words cannot possibly describe how wonderful that place truly is. I will miss her warmth, her ways, and her smile the most. We will see you again Mom.

My Mother-in-law is a bright light shining, Bettys light was seen from a far leading people with no hope in life to the thone of God. Her life resonated with the love of Christ, yes she had her challenges but I saw how she always abided in , trusted in Jesus right to the end. She was always ready in season and out of season to give a reason for her hope in Her Lord Jesus Christ. Spending time with Betty has made an impact on my life, while visiting with Her in our home she said to me "Nothing, absolutely nothing in your life is more important than learning to know Gods voice when He speaks to you ,and go do what He has called you to"Betty and Bob Reynolds have blessed me with an amazing, Godly wife, Annie Spencer,Mother of two ,and my Best Friend and for knowing Betty it was Gods plan for my Life! For the life of Betty Reynolds I thank my Heavenly Father and give Him all the Glory! See you in Heaven!

I knew she could hear me when I would ask her for a kiss and she would pucker her lips as we kissed. The very last words she said to me were "I love you very much Papa". As she lay there at home with our four daughters, our grand children, and great grandchildren around the bedside, she never lost her love for life and her love for God. She was a caring and loving mother and a compassionate lady who always exceeded expectations. A perfect mother to her children and a faithful wife never wavering from her marriage vows. For the fifty three years of our togetherness she stood at my side as my sweetheart and wife. Betty was my dancing partner, business partner, skiing partner and traveling companion. Very seldom were we separated. People would say "If you see Betty, you see Bob" or "If you see Bob you see Betty". That's who we were. Two joined as one. She loved God and shared that love at every opportunity with friends and total strangers. When she was asked to take on a project, she would embellish it with much more than expected. We took our vows on January 14th, 1961 and said "TILL DEATH DO US PART" I will miss your companionship and love but I know you are looking down at me from heaven. Say hello to Steve. Goodbye for now. I will be with you again. Love, POPPA

This last year was very inspirational to see her love for The Lord ... Even through the pain and discomfort she was going through, she never took her eyes off The Lord. It was also a blessing to see her children and grandchildren gather around her to the end. We were blessed to have a small part in that.

We were privileged to know Betty Reynolds, a deeply loving person whose strong faith was a model for us all. Betty, who was warm and welcoming to us, was a resourceful person who would willingly tackle challenges before her with strength and generosity. She touched countless lives, leaving behind smiles, an admiration for who she was and a bit of her joy for life in everyone's heart. Giving of herself came naturally to Betty and we were two of many who benefited from our association with her.
Our condolences and best wishes to her family and to Bob, whose welcoming friendship we also experienced.

Momma,
I love you so much and will hold you in my heart until the day we meet again with Jesus. My memories are of the many things we did together. You and I were great partners in dancing, skiing, boating, traveling and business partner. When you were with cancer the first time we made the best of it. We just couldn't let it win over us. Those were memorable moments in our life that brought us even closer together. At first I cried but you helped me to be stronger. As we went through that time we had so much fun and went on with our lives as though nothing was wrong.
Thank you for supporting me in the Power Squadron and later the Coast Guard Auxilliary. You were there with me. Thank you for being my waitress in the restaurant. You were there with me. Thank you for being my partner in the sign business. You were there with me.
You are a wonderful mother and wife who always had encouraging words for me, our children and thier spouses. The many people who crossed your path were blessed with the kind words and the inspiration you gave them with your love of God and your knowledge of the word. I was there when you did many of these things and marveled at your wisdom.
This house is so big and empty without you here but the memories help me know that everywhere I look I see you in every room. As a son-in-law once said as he looked around, "What do you have against bare walls?"
I thank God for wonderful children who are supporting me. For the reconcilliation. For our grandchildren and great grandchildren. They will always remember you as a sweet, loving, and funny lady.
Til we meet again. With all my love. I miss you but I will be strong.

Momma, It has been a year since we said our goodbyes. The girls took me to Lewiston for a surprise dinner meeting. As we road the highway to Lewiston I asked "Why Leweston?" they told me that it was the last place you and I went on a trip together. Jenny and Lisa couldn't be there with us so they were brought in by Skype. Rachelle and Faith were also there. I am doing fine and am happy with my life and you are always in my thoughts. I love you and miss your companionship. Love Poppa.
